Created by a famous Norwegian astrologer, writer and musician, Morten Alexander Joramo uses a single note from several octaves in each song. This brilliant series of chakra balancing music was produced so that each song would resonate with a chakra allowing the release of any blockages, freeing the flow of energy throughout the body. Combining vibration with intent, Joramo cleverly incorporates the power of each chakra centre in his music. For example, the Red energy song utilizes a driving beat projecting Red’s motivating and energizing energy. Whereas, the Orange song begins with sounds of a thunderstorm (the water element expressing the flow and movement of the Orange power). Through the Rainbow was created to aid in stimulating our body’s energy centres. The music was composed in the sequence of the rainbow’s energy to help align the chakras and may invoke various emotional, mental and physical responses.

Song One–RED Root Chakra: This is a difficult chakra to meditate to. Instead allow your body to sway passionately to the earthy weight of the rhythm. This music was designed to bring up your primordial and primitive depths.

Song Two–Orange Spleen Chakra: You can still move around to this music or you can sit quietly and feel what the music brings up in you. This chakra is related to our social and religious functions and connections.

Song Three–Yellow Solar Plexus Chakra: Our consciousness is preoccupied with registering and acting on what is happening on our planet, so feel this powerful intense music and express yourself with movement.

Song Four–Green Heart Chakra: Feel how this centre is the midpoint of both the inner and outer Universe – sit and feel the peace, love, nature and the earth – life around you! This piece of music will reveal how centred and harmonically integrated you are within yourself and with your surroundings.

Song Five–Blue Throat Chakra: It is very important to use the voice. Rhythm, communication and thinking are the key words here. Sing out loud and unhindered! If this is difficult for you, this centre may be blocked, so keep on trying!

Song Six–Indigo Brow Chakra: This music will help to bring you across to the invisible world! This music was created to affect both your left and right hemispheres.
